WRITE: Ways to Let Go

It’s a full moon today (May 12) and it’s a great time for some introspection.

I swear by meditation, but if that’s not your thing, try this: write down 3 things you want to overcome on a piece of paper, then burn it.

It’s a nice little ritual to help you articulate what’s bothering you and let it go.

In my case, I was holding on to the idea of a big, beautiful book tour for my debut novel - and I was so, so close - but I felt that it would be better to postpone a trip to the US.

After I did that, all the amazing press came in and my spirits buoyed. And now, I have a few exciting virtual events (Harvard - free – people from all over the world can join!)… Register here:

INSPIRE: Full Moon Meditation

For my fellow meditators, take a deep breath, sit somewhere quiet, and spend 10 minutes in stillness listening to calming words.

This is a daily practice for me and has transformed my life.
